Two types of Animal Abuse
There is two types of abuse one is physical abuse were the animal is being hit. Usually if you going to pet a dog they wag there tail in approval but with abused dogs they tend to get aggressive and cower because they are scared of a hand because that's often how dogs get abused. Where with abused cats they tend to hiss and run away if they have been or are being abused.
The second type of abuse is psychological abuse which is more of neglecting a dog and leaving it alone for long periods of time. Or it could be yelling at the dog and threatening it. When animals are abused to much they may stop eating and stop moving because they are essentially trying to become invisible.
